3 die, 14 injured in road mishaps in Jammu

Jammu: Three persons died and thirteen others were injured in different road accidents in Jammu and outskirts.
According to the sources a constable 65 years old namely Sukhdev Raj son of Sain Dass resident of Thakrian R. S Pura of Wireless Wing presently posted at Simble Camp dead today. He was admitted in GMC Jammu since 24 April 2009 as Road Traffic Accident (RTA) at Katli Shahpura R. S Pura and shifted to BEE EEN Charitable Hospital Talab Tillo Jammu.
Sources said that one person identified as Bodh Raj son of Paras Ram resident of Paranallah dead on the spot when a Tractor bearing registration number JK08A-5911 rolled down on the road at Pallar. Police has been registered a case FIR No. 51/09 under section 279, 337, 304-A RPC at Police Post Billawar.
In another incident a Tipper bearing registration number JK02F-7856 rolled down about 20 feet into Nallah at Badora, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Mahore, resulting in one person namely Muneer Ahmad son of Abdul Aziz resident of Sarh Mahore dead on the spot.
An accident took place between Bolero Car No JK014A-3597 and Alto Car No JK02U-4346 at Supwal Vijaypur, resulting six persons injured. All the injured admitted to the nearby hospital.
Meanwhile a Tata Sumo No JK14A-8556 on way from Ramban to Udhampur hit and injured one pedestrian Bakerwal lady namely Bibi wife of Abdul Aziz Bakerwal resident of Gara Sature Hiranagar. The injured lady was hospitalized.
A Matador bearing registration number JK06-2035 on way from Doda to Thathri met with an accident near Nai Basti, resulting in injuries to one person namely Shabir Ahmad son of Rustum resident of Doda. Case FIR No. 21/09 under section 279, 337 RPC stands registered at Police Station Thathri.
Six other persons were admitted in GMC Jammu after sustaining injuries in different road traffic accidents in Jammu city and its outskirts.(NAK)
